Northern Aviation Maintenance & Repair, LLC is a family owned and operated business in Anchorage, Alaska. It was established in 1997 by David Mathew, former Director of Maintenance for Ketchum Air Service and Alaska Air Taxi, with his wife, Erica Mathew. With a passion for aviation in Alaska and a commitment to integrity, the company expanded and has continued to provide quality services ever since to meet the needs of fellow aviation enthusiasts. The company has also partnered with some exceptional companies over the years to give customers confidence in not only the reliable work of our mechanics, but in the products we install.

With a solid understanding of aviation mechanics and functional performance, as well as piloting in the great state of Alaska, we have become a trusted shop on Lake Hood. We apply valuable experience from many different outlets that include university educations, nationally recognized certifications, recurrent company trainings, and time well spent in the shop. Our ultimate goal is to keep our aviation community thriving and safely doing what we all love doing : flying. It's as simple as that.
